About Libby
From ace, kinky femmes to religious monogamous couples, my therapy room is a nonjudgmental and shame-free space for all identities, presentations, and relationship structures. I believe that all my clients have inherent worth and truly desire the chance to grow and heal. Rather than assuming I know my client’s experience, I utilize an intersectional feminist lens to holistically understand my client’s life and struggles. I aim to help my clients feel empowered and confident in navigating their sexual and romantic lives. With a lifelong passion and over a decade of work in the human sexuality field, I became a trained sex and relational therapist with experience working with many different relational and individual presentations. I am committed to helping you find fulfillment in your sexual life through better communication, processing trauma, utilizing coping skills, and removing longstanding narratives. Rather than one set therapy modality, I utilize an integrated approach to create a personalized therapy experience. I consistently give space for my clients to actively engage in the therapy process, to be empathetically challenged, to thoughtfully challenge themselves, and empathize with their own internal lives. By receiving affirming, socioculturally attuned care and playing an active role in the therapy process, my clients experience positive change and growth. I have a particular affinity for BIPOC, queer, gender expansive (TGNC), poly/ENM, and kinky/BDSM clients. I also have experience working with interracial partnerships, gender diverse relationships, fetish/paraphilic sexual preferences, fat-identified individuals, erotic conflict, clients exploring bisexuality, and queer women.
