Hi there! My name is Drew Unrue and I am glad you're on a journey to find the right therapist! Operating from a psychoanalytic approach, both conscious and unconscious information will be explored in our space; past events, experiences, and the spaces in-between our memories inform how we show up in the world – they deserve our attention. Central to navigating our time together will include cultivating a judgment-free space of exploration at your own pace where you feel able to speak openly and freely. In my practice, I work with adults of all ages. My specialities include: Social/Cultural/Religious Experience, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and Relationship Issues. I have concentrated experience engaging with those who come from and/or are currently engaged in religious communities and the concerns that emerge from religious ideologies. I utilize a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and relational approach to our work together to cultivate curiosity, connection, and care.
