About Carly

Carly Novoselsky, LCPC, CADC (she/her) is a dynamic queer femme who is fiercely passionate about the intersection of mental health, substance abuse, and the queer community. She specializes in working with individuals and couples in the queer community, especially those questioning their relationship with their sexuality, gender and/or substance use. Whether you\'re grappling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues or trauma, she is here to offer guidance, compassion and understanding without any judgment. Carly received her Master\'s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Adler University. In March 2020, Carly founded Queer Sober Social (QSS), an inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking genuine and supportive connections free from drugs and alcohol. She is also a cohost on the Queer Sober Social Podcast. In her free time, you can find her foodie side exploring the local restaurant scene in Chicago.
